this is difficult as music has taken on a different role in my life over the past few years. i don't listen to music in a womblike atmosphere with undivided attention very much at all anymore. and most depressive music doesn't seem to reach me as much as it once did, so my list reflects my history with music as much as it does my current interests. much of this music made a huge impression in my life. there were certain times where there were certain musics, certain bands, or certain records. i'll try to update the list as i remember things i've forgotten, as i find new music that blows me away, and as i realize sedimentary changes in my life.
through the convenience of the internet you can have pretty much any of these records on cd delivered to your door instead of having to go thru the painstaking life process that i went through.
