let us play games that we can make a life of

"an adult is a child who has more ethics and morals. that's all. when i am a child, creating, i am not creating a game. i am in the game. the game is not for children, it is for me. it is for the adult that still has a character of a child."
--sigeru miyamoto of nintendo, from the book GAME OVER by david sheff
in the game of your life,
i ask for you, may everything come true

ok, i'm just like everybody else. this game will rock your world, if you've got a friggin' pentium, damnit

here's a nifty screenshot of a magical portal from quake. let's call it our imagination portal. let's jump thru to a richer life (but we don't have to be armed to the teeth of course)

NINTENDO 64

and mario is the next step in the answer to my dream game.

i thought i was lucky last year with Quake, but Quake is too narrow in it's appeal, though it is a breakthru game with enormous possibilities. iD is one of the two or three best game companies out there, but they are too limited to the shoot em up, chambers, and weapons.

you crave other experiences.

please email me with your thoughts, suggestions, and tell me of your favorite games. and especially if you're a girl, i'm interested in your perspective on what games you find interesting or what you feel to be vast vistas of the imagination that boys have heretofore not had the smarts to include in their macho violent adventures.
